About
Mr. Aaron Ng had his training in art therapy at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute in Canada and his social work training at the University of Hong Kong. He is also a Registered Social Worker, Registered Kindergarten Teacher, and a professional member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA). Aaron has experience working with vulnerable populations facing a variety of challenges, including domestic violence, gender struggle, mental and physical health difficulties, special needs, life and death issues and more. In addition to individual therapy, he believes that the art in community advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration can be therapeutically transformative to the system for the benefit of the individual. In his art therapy work, he is inspired with existentialism, attachment theory, psychodynamic and narrative approaches.
