B.Ed. (Hons.), Dip.A.T., Cert.Ed., Cert. Sch Counsel & Guidance, M.Ed., M.Ed. William obtained postgraduate diploma in Art therapy from Goldsmiths’ College, University of London in 1989. He is a recognized art therapist in Britain. Besides, he acquired two M.Ed. degrees from the University of Edinburgh and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majored in Psychology and Educational Administration respectively. After practicing art therapy as Guidance Master in the Hong Kong secondary schools for years, William was awarded the qualification of Associate Fellow of the Hong Kong Professional Counselling Association. William is a founding exco member and treasurer of the Hong Kong Association of Art Therapists. Apart from being a principal of a Hong Kong secondary school at present, William has been working art therapy intensively with adolescents. He has wide working experience from adopting art therapy for general personal growth, for those with single or broken family, depression, phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, test anxiety and autism. His latest focus is to work with dyslexic students, particularly those who are in the transition from primary to secondary school. William has been presenting research papers and facilitated workshops in conferences both locally and internationally, delivering training to government departments including EDB and NGOs and lecturing in Universities. He also engages in art therapy supervision.
